Inclusive Service Panel

SSENs Independent External Inclusive Service Panel is a group of experts with a working knowledge of issues relating to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Our Internal Inclusive Service Panel are passionate individuals from across SSEN Distribution and both Panels were formed in 2017. The Panels challenge thinking and provide innovative suggestions and practical ideas to further improve the inclusive nature of the services offered to our customers. Fuel poverty is a fixed topic in every panel meeting and recently the scope of the panels was expanded to include more focus on removing inequalities in the uptake of low carbon technologies.

Inclusive Service Panel (ISP) Chairperson

Trisha McAuley OBE, Chairperson of the Internal and Independent External Inclusive Service Panels

Trisha McAuley is an experienced Non-Executive Director and Chair, with experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Trisha's background is in consumer affairs. For over twenty years, until 2014, she was a senior executive in UK and Scottish consumer organisations. She is widely recognised as a national consumer expert and was awarded an OBE for services to consumer affairs in 2015. She has been an influential public policy leader, working effectively with parliaments, governments, regulators, business and public services at a strategic level.
